For this LWV Chaffe County annual meeting, we will gather at the Casa del Rio Clubhouse in Buena Vista (thanks to Mo Butler). Please bring your own wine or beer and we will provide non-alcoholic drinks and lots of appetizers. No full dinner this year—grazing and SOCIALIZING! It has been 2+ years since we have done a gathering inside! Since then we have had over 20 new folks join us to help our mission of Empowering People, Defending Democracy. We DESPERATELY want to see everyone and meet our new members! Our membership is 116 now and we know everyone cannot attend, but we would LOVE to have 50+ folks gather from 5-7 pm the evening of April 13 (no usual 2nd Monday of the month meeting). We will have our elections and vote on the budget. More details and directions later. If you are interested in serving on the Leadership Team, being our Voter Service Coordinator (Scott is retiring after a long career doing this for us), or any other interest, PLEASE let Marjie or Karen Dils know.
